Captsone, 4/19/2013

The one thing I would tell the Juniors to do during presentation is have a bottle of water close by. Since there will be a lot of talking in a crowded area, they are bound to have dry mouth and be thirsty so instead of fetching for water during their presentation, it would be better to have it close by. Also to make sure that their Tri-Folds will not be taking up too much space. Juniors should make sure to have enough visuals that will attract audiences as well as the judges. Overall, Capstone was not that great of a journey, however I was able to learn certain things through out the process. Although the dragged out process of capstone may have ended for many, as for my class, we are expected to write extra 5 pages due to miscommunication among the professors.

Although all of the slides do not look exactly alike, they do have unifying themes such as color and word font. Hopefully the last one would help bring it all together into one.

03/1/2013 PSA

Refugee camps give millions a gilded hope of escape from death but for all they know, it could be even worse. Kakuma refugee camp is filled with overcrowded tents infested with malaria and it remains a place of mortality among children younger than five years of age. The spread of malaria from one to another with an aid of a frail- bodied insect that has managed to surpass decades of research making it difficult for effective preventative cares.  Stopping  the female mosquito from laying eggs would prevent further cases.
